Mareograph Network
The State Network of Mareographers consists of four sea level meters (mareographs) along the coastline of the Republic of Albania. Mareographers are located in Shengjin, Durres, Orikum and Saranda. This network enables the collection of essential data related to the monitoring of sea level changes as well as for many studies and monitoring that address environmental problems. For later study purposes, mareographs will also be linked to the First Order Level.
Mareography of Shengjin
Shengjin mareographic station is installed in the premises of Shengjin Naval Base. It is located in a safe place Inside the port area of the ship anchorage, in such a position that it takes into account all the requirements set out in the technical specifications and that these types of stations require.
Mareography of Durrës
The mareographic station of Durrës has been installed in the premises of the military base of Cape Paul. It is located in a safe place within the port area of the ship anchorage, in such a position that it takes into account all the requirements set out in the technical specifications and that these types of stations require.
Mareography of Orikum
The Orikum Mareographic Station has been installed on the premises of the Pasha Liman Military Naval Base. It is located in a safe place inside the basin of the anchorage harbor of military ships, in such a position that it takes into account all the requirements set out in the technical specifications and that these types of stations require.
Mareography of Saranda
Saranda Mareographic Station is installed in the premises of the Saranda Naval Military Base. It is located in a safe place inside the basin of the anchorage harbor of military ships, in such a position that it takes into account all the requirements set out in the technical specifications and that these types of stations require.
