Meetings, Workshops and Conferences Meetings, Workshops, Conferences Geodetic Reference Frame and Geoid Modeling in the Republic of Albania State Authority for Geospatial Information (ASIG) in collaboration with the Academy of Sciences of Albania (ASH) organized on 17.04.2025, at the premises of the Academy, the workshop on the topic: “Geodetic Reference Frame and Geoid Modeling in the Republic of Albania”. Calculation of the gravimetric geoid in the Republic of Albania. State Authority for Geospatial Information (ASIG) in order to achieve its objectives for the construction of the component networks of the Albanian Geodetic Reference Frame (KRGJSH), within the project “Construction of the Geodetic Reference Frame, PHASE III” took place in the premises of the Europa Hall a meeting with experts in the field of gravimetry and geoid, from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), Greece.. Meeting between ASIG and the lecturers of the Department of Geodes In the premises of the Europa hall, a meeting was held between the representatives of the State Authority for Geospatial Information (ASIG) chaired by the General Director Mrs. Vilma Tomço and a group of professors from the Department of Geodesy, at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, of the Polytechnic University of Tirana, in the function of the realization of doctorates related to Horizontal and Vertical Geodetic References. ASIG participates in the workshop organized by EUROSEA State Authority for Geospatial Information (ASIG) participated in the online workshop organized within the EUROSEA project, a project funded by the European Union which aims at large-scale coordination in the European continent of national agencies that manage oceanographic and marine data, combining capacities and meeting existing gaps in the function of an international observing system. Professional practice with Geodesy students In the framework of the cooperation agreement between the Polytechnic University of Tirana and the State Authority for Geospatial Information (ASIG), the KRGJSH sector at ASIG, based on its work program, carried out on 9 and 10 June 2022, a professional internship with students of Geodesy of the Faculty of Civil Engineering (FIN), at the Polytechnic University of Tirana, on “Procedure for achieving high accuracy levelling”.
