The State Mareographic Network

The State Network of Mareographic stations consists of four sea level gauges (tide gauges) along the coastline of the Republic of Albania. The tide gauges are located in Shengjin, Durrës, Orikum and Saranda. This network enables the collection of data related to the monitoring of sea level changes as well as for many studies and monitoring that deal with environmental problems. For later study purposes, ASIG intends that the tide gauges will also be connected to each other by First Order Leveling Lines.
