About KRGJSH
PURPOSE
The KRGJSH aims to realize, through networks of control points and permanent stations, a geodetic reference system through which the latitude and longitude, heights, degrees, gravity and orientation for each point of the territory of the Republic of Albania are uniquely determined.
MISSION
ASIG aims to create networks that constitute the Geodetic Reference Framework of Albania (KRGJSH) with high accuracy to guarantee spatial reference according to European standards in all its components: National GNSS Network, Gravimetric Network, Levelling Network, Mareographic Network, and Magnetometric Network.
MAIN SECTORS THAT SUPPORT THEIR ACTIVITY IN KRGJSH
NSDI
KRGJSH provides the unique basis for the production and harmonization of the interactive geoinformation of the National Geospatial Information Infrastructure.
TOPOGRAPHIC AND MARINE MAP
KRGJSH provides the unique basis for determining the coordinates in the plan and in the height of the elements that appear on the maps.
BOUNDARIES
KRGJSH provides the unique basis on which Geodetic Engineers rely to determine the coordinates of state border points, administrative boundaries and cadastral boundaries of immovable property.
CONSTRUCTION
KRGJSH provides the unique base on which engineers rely during the design and implementation of infrastructural works with considerable extent in the territory of the Republic of Albania.
SCIENCE
KRGJSH provides the unique basis on which various disciplines of geoscience are based to measure and interpret phenomena related to Geology, Hydrology, Seismology, Earth Meteorology, etc.
